I use it with Chrome on a windows machine so I don't know specifically. I’ve tried and they never work so I keep using my already set up passwords thru last pass. I can’t figure out how to have LastPass generate a new password on iOS. Once I had everything transferred over to LastPass, then I did a second grand tour of each website changing my password to a LastPass generated one based upon the rules of the website to make it the maximum length and difficulty. This is what I did back when I got LastPass. As you log in to each site, Lastpass will offer to save your credentials.
